Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
After completing archdiocesan and parish training, these ministers assist in offering the Body and Blood of Christ to the assembly at Mass. Some ministers take Holy Communion to those who are not able to attend Mass. You must have received the sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) and be mature enough to understand the importance of this ministry. Eighth grade students and older, once Confirmed, are welcome in this ministry.
Parishioners present the gifts of bread and wine at weekend Masses. Individuals and families are welcome to take part in this parish ministry.
Lectors proclaim the Word of God in the first and second readings at Mass. Anyone who is willing to proclaim the Word is welcome.
