Altar Servers
Altar Servers assist the priest in offering the Mass. Altar Servers, male or
female, may be any active parish member from 5th grade or older. Youth, teenagers,
young adults, adults, couples and families are invited to serve in this ministry.
Art and Environment
Members of the Art and Environment Committee work together to enrich our worship
space according to the liturgical season.
Daily Prayer
Praying daily in thanksgiving and in petition is the mark of a grateful steward.
Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration takes place on the First Friday
of every month after the 8 a.m. Mass until the late afternoon.
Those wishing to express their love for Christ through adoration
are asked to sign up in the foyer the Sunday before the
first Friday for a 30 to 60 minute time slots.
Gift Bearers
Parishioners present the gifts of bread, wine at Mass. Individuals
and families are welcome to join this parish ministry.
Heavenly Housekeepers
Team members work together on a rotating schedule to keep
our worship space clean.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
After completing archdiocesan and parish training, these
ministers assist in offering the Body and Blood of Christ
to the assembly at Mass. Some ministers take Holy Communion
to those who are not able to attend Mass. You must have
received the sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation
and Eucharist) and be mature enough to understand the importance
of this ministry. Eighth grade students and older are welcome,
once Confirmed.

Lectors
Lectors proclaim the Word of God in the first and second
readings at Mass. Anyone
who is willing to proclaim the Word is welcome.

Lighting of the Advent Candles
Families and individuals light the Advent candles before
weekend Masses during Advent.
Lenten Stations of the Cross
Parishioners are invited to lead the Stations of the Cross
at 6 p.m. one of the Friday evenings during Lent. The only
experience required is the ability to read and follow the
Way of the Cross.
Mass Attendance
By participating at Mass and receiving the Holy Eucharist
our parish is strengthened and grows in faith.
Mass Greeters
Greeters strive to ensure that all who attend Mass feel
welcome as they extend a smile, offer a handshake and open
a door as parishioners and visitors arrive for Mass.
Music Ministries
Adult Choir-Anyone may
join the adult choir. No experience necessary.
Once a week rehearsal. The choir leads the assembly in singing
at one Sunday Mass a month.
Adult Folk Group-Ensemble
of adults made up of instrumentalists
(i.e. guitar, etc.) and singers. Group usually sings at
two Sunday Masses a month with a rehearsal
the week before the scheduled Mass.
Cantors-Leaders of prayer
that proclaim the sung psalm at Sunday
Mass and lead the assembly in song.
Children’s Choir Ministry
All grade school aged parishioners who enjoy singing and
praising the Lord are invited to become members of this
music ministry.
Resurrection Choir-Choir
at funerals to assist the assembly in
singing.
Teen Band-High
school aged members
of the community who
sing or play a musical
instrument or sing
are invited to take
part in the second Sunday of the month youth oriented Mass.
Young Adult Ensemble-Contemporary ensemble of college age and young adult musicians who provide music for weekend liturgies typically once or twice a month. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in church.
Prayer Network
Parishioners are linked by phone to pray for the intentions
of others.
Rosary Leaders
Members share devotion to our Blessed Mother by leading
the rosary one-half hour before our weekend Masses.
Ushers
Ushers welcome and seat parishioners and visitors, direct
them at Communion time, help the handicapped, facilitate
the offertory collection and are available at liturgies
to assist where needed.
Washing of the Feet
A cross-section of parishioners will be chosen to
have their feet washed by the celebrant at the Mass of the Lord’s Supper
on Holy Thursday.
